Councillor Alan Hall showed Ellie Reeves MP for Lewisham West & Penge the Fellowship Inn where a £4 million Heritage Lottery Fund restoration has begun.
The pub is expected to open to the public in June 2018. It will include a theatre, cinema, pub, coffee shop cafe and will create 70 new jobs in Bellingham.
Councillor Alan Hall said: “The countdown to re-opening the Fellowship Inn has started. This is a flagship project for London. I am proud to lead the team at Phoenix Community Housing today to show our new MP – Ellie Reeves – what’s it all about.”
